Love Island Star Jess Storms Off In Unaired Scene

The drama!

Tuesday night’s episode of Love Island was probably the most dramatic one yet.

With arguments, a surprise twist and difficult decisions it’s no wonder tensions were running high. But that’s only what the viewers got to see – and it turns out so much more happens off-screen. Last night’s shock recoupling was the breaking point for Jess Harding as she stormed off set with tears in her eyes in an unaired scene.

The drama started when Maya Jama interrupted the islander’s romantic brunch dates telling the group that they each had to choose which couples they thought were the least compatible. The host returned later to count the votes and reveal that Sammie and Jess, and Mitch and Leah were thought to be the least compatible couples by their fellow co-stars.

The bottom two couples were split up and told that they could not couple up again at the next re-coupling. All four of the islanders were left devastated by the decisions of their fellow contestants but Jess was particularly upset. The London-based beautician reportedly stormed off the set and refused to continue filming the show.

“It really ruffled some feathers – and it got worse when Jess found out she had to go on a date with the new boy,” a TV insider said to The Sun.

“It wasn’t anything personal against him, but a producer had to console her while she sobbed and coax her to continue filming, eventually, she carried on and it got smoothed over, but it was such a bombshell twist, it was unsurprising the Islanders were so annoyed.”
