Love Island’s Eyal Booker Thinks Maura Higgins Is ‘Empowering Women All Over’ Ireland
Well, we're all more open about our fanny flutters now.
Maura Higgins has found herself a fan in former Love Islander Eyal Booker.
Eyal, who took part in the show last year, told STELLAR that he thinks the Longford woman is doing Ireland proud.
“Maura is empowering women all over the country. She’s done everyone proud, and she’s hanging in there,” he said.
As for what he thinks of her relationship with Curtis – well, he’s a believer.
At first I think she was getting a bit of stick, but she’s really come into her own and everyone’s warmed to her so much. Her and Curtis, I never really saw that coming but at the same time… I like them together. I think they’re genuine.
The model is also a big fan of Amber and Greg, so it’s good to see he’s backing the Irish to win no matter what. What would he say to the new Islanders about the whirlwind that awaits them outside the villa?
“Remember who you were before, think about what you’re passionate about and what you want to do with your platform. People will be coming at you with different opportunities and pulling you in loads of different directions, but take five minutes to yourself and think about where you want to go,” he says. Good advice.

Eyal, who is in Dublin with essence for the launch of their new #essencelipsaviours collection, is currently coupled up with fellow reality star Delilah Belle Hamlin – the daughter of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Lisa Rinna.
“We met on Instagram, actually,” he tells STELLAR of their courtship. “Very modern! She was in London and I took her out, and it just went from there. I chased her around the world a little bit. Now we’re very happy together.”
He’s not ruling out an appearance on Real Housewives in the future: “If Delilah was on it and she wanted me to have a chat with her on the show… I never say never. But I’ve got my own things going on, of course.”
Of course. We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled…
