Love Island’s Gemma Owen Reportedly Has A New Beau Following Luca Bish Split

Gemma Owen reportedly has a new beau months after her split from Love Island bf Luca Bish.

The former-flames hit it off last year, during season eight of the hit reality series, coming second place in the competition. But their relationship came to an end just three months after their time in the villa.

But Gemma might not need the reality series to find love, as the equestrian is reportedly in the midst of a new romance.

The 20-year-old has been linked to British polo player Tommy Severn.

While it is early days, the pair recently travelled to Ibiza together.

For a wild night out on the town, in one of the Spanish city’s infamous nightclubs you ask? No, for polo…of course!

A source told The Sun: “Gemma went to Ibiza to watch Tommy play polo in Ibiza this week.”

“They shared a photo from the same polo club and they’re both passionate about horses.” But equestrian sports aren’t the only thing they have in common as they both hail from famous families, Gemma as the daughter of footballer Michael Owen, and Tommy as the grandson of famed polo player Christopher Hanbury.

Back in November, Gemma was the first to break the news of her split from Luca sharing a statement to her Instagram story that read, “To all my followers, I wanted to let you know that Luca and I are no longer in a relationship.”

“It wasn’t an easy decision but ultimately this is what is best for us both right now. Many of you have been on this journey with us from the very beginning, and I want to thank you for your continued support as we start new chapters. Love always, Gem x.”

The pair stuck together from the beginning of this year’s series although they had a few ups and downs with Gemma’s ex Jacques entering the villa, Luca accusing Gemma of flirting with Casa Amor lad Billy, and Luca’s conflicts with Gemma’s villa pal Tasha Ghouri. The pair ended up placing second in the live final, with Ekin-Su and Davide taking the top spot.
