Love Island’s Megan Is Fuming At Dancing On Ice For Pairing Wes With The ‘Youngest, Hottest’ Skater

She thinks they planned to split her and Wes up. Hm.

Love Island’s Megan Barton-Hanson is still not finished discussing her split from Wes Nelson, and believes the Dancing On Ice producers had something to do with it.

She’s blaming Wes for the split, telling OK Magazine that their ambitions and goals in life were too different.

Wes is younger than me and wrapped up in the fame bubble – but I still love him, which is why it hurts so much. I fought and fought and fought for Wes but he doesn’t love me back.

Their split was preceded by Megan accusing Wes’ Dancing On Ice partner Vanessa Bauer of “tactically” breaking up with her boyfriend before the show began, as well as not making an effort to introduce herself or invite Megan to training.

It seems Megan is still convinced that the producers were trying to mess with their relationship, and particularly disliked the judges referring to Wes and Vanessa as a “lovely couple”.

“The fact that the producers deliberately stirred things up by partnering Wes with the youngest, hottest girl annoyed me,” she said.

Vanessa is 22, while Wes is just 20, so it probably made sense for the producers to pair the two youngest skaters up… but sure, we’ll get in on this conspiracy theory.

The skating partners showed their trust in each other last night by completing the highly dangerous ‘headbanger’ move, earning the highest score on the series so far from the judges.
