Love Island’s Millie Court and Mary Bedford got the same tattoo before entering the Love Island villa it has been revealed.

Getting a lightening bolt which is the symbol of the hit TV show, the pair both got the tattoo in different places, with Mary’s family saying that the reason behind getting the tattoo was to “remind herself to stay grounded and that everything is okay and she will be alright no matter what.”

Obviously, both Millie and Mary didn’t know that the other one was getting the tat – coming into the villa as strangers and at different times.

“The lightning bolt is the symbol of Love Island 2021 this year,” they added.

On Wednesday night, Mary and Aaron were the latest couple to be dumped from the villa.

Receiving the fewest votes from the public, the pair made a graceful exit, noting that they’re happy about the experience they’ve had and the friends they’ve made.

What will happen on the outside for the pair is still a mystery, with fans hoping that they’ll keep their romance going since they seemed pretty smitten getting to know each other in the villa.

Speaking in her exit interview, Mary acknowledged that the pair have been together for less than two weeks, but hope sparks continue to fly back in the UK.

“It’s still proper early days for us. Even though it’s only been 10 days it feels like we’ve been seeing each other for months. We said we’re definitely going to give it a go on the outside. Obviously everything changes when you get out so we said we’re just going to cross each bridge as it comes to it.

We’re definitely going to see each other on the outside.”

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media One, with the final taking place on Monday, August 23rd.
