Love Island’s Ollie Williams Has Quit The Show After Just Three Days

The drama has barely even started on Winter Love Island and one contestant already wants out.

Ollie Williams (yes, the guy who’s set to inherit a rake of land from his aristocrat dad) has left the villa just three days into the series. He was coupled up with Paige Turley, who wasn’t entirely taken by him… so maybe it’s a blessing in disguise for her? We’ll have to wait and see.

Ollie now claims he’s still in love with his ex, whom he dated for 18 months before the relationship ended last year.

Explaining his decision in the Beach Hut, he tells the camera:

I have to be honest with myself and everyone that I do still love someone else… I have to follow my heart in this scenario and it would be wrong for me to ignore these feelings. At the end of the day, this is Love Island and it’s about finding love. If I carried on anything with Paige, or any other girl that might come into the villa, it wouldn’t be fair on them.

Reps for Love Island have confirmed that his exit will be shown on tomorrow night’s programme.

Ollie’s decision to leave comes after pictures of him trophy hunting and posing with dead animals went viral on social media – he is listed as the sole director of Cornish Sporting Agency, which gives its nature of business as “hunting” and “trapping”.

According to Sky News, British broadcasting watchdog Ofcom has received 231 complaints against him since the show began, and a petition calling on ITV to remove him from the villa has been signed by over 38,000 people. Innnteresting…
