This summer’s season of Love Island has come to an end, but the ensuing drama is seeing no signs of stopping!

From shady podcast mentions to a heated reunion episode, it’s clear that certain members of the show did not see eye to eye; however, this time it’s someone from outside of the season who’s embroiling themselves in the drama.

TV personality Sam Thompson, who frequently appears as a panellist on Love Island: Aftersun, and co-hosts the Love Island Morning After podcast, has suggested there was a bad attitude from this year’s contestant Scott van-der-Sluis.

While chatting with Kady McDermott (who appeared on the show alongside Scott) on his podcast, Staying Relevant, Sam said “I heard that Scott clicked at producers, heard he had a bit of an attitude in there.”

Kady neither agreed with or denied Sam’s comments, though she went on to add her own story that Scott had complained about the food in the villa, leading contestant Medhi to push his plate in frustration and call him “ungrateful”.

Whether the stories are true or not, it looks like Scott isn’t having any of them!

The Welsh footballer tweeted in response to a clip of the comments, “Sam mate what are you chatting”, adding a crying/laughing emoji.

Other Twitter users stormed the comments in support of Scott, writing Sam and Kady’s claims off as “desperation for relevancy”. Yikes!

It’s clear the Scott fan train isn’t slowing down!
