Love Island’s Sophie Piper and Connor Durman Have Broken Up

It’s true what they say, all good things must come to an end. One kind of good thing that has come to an abrupt end recently is Winter Love Island’s Sophie and Connor’s relationship.

A source has revealed to The Sun that after spending months apart due to lockdown, the two have agreed to go their separate ways.

“Things just fizzled out. They never even went official,” the source said.

“It just didn’t have a chance to get started because of lockdown and they both agreed it was better to just stay friends,” they continued.

Right, so that’s that then.

Sophie and Connor first connected when their paths crossed in the Winter Love Island villa, after a rocky couple weeks spent together in there and with Connor being one of the first contestants to leave the villa, the two reconnected in the outside world after Sophie was voted out of the show.

But, it’s not all doom and gloom when it comes to the last season of everyone’s favourite dating show, as contestants Nas and Eva have just confirmed that they are now BF and GF, gahhh.

Announcing the news earlier this week on Instagram, Nas posted a cute snap of the two with the caption:

“Officially a couple 🌹 #securedthebag #trustinyoursauce”

With Eva commented under it:

“I’VE GOT A BOYFRENNNNNNNN”

And people say romance is dead?!
