Lucy Watson Reflects On Engagement To James Dunmore With Sweet Holiday Snap

Last week, a beaming Lucy Watson announced her engagement to long-time partner, James Dunmore.

The pair were enjoying a holiday in Greece, where it’s believed James popped the question on a sunset yacht.

Coy as ever, Lucy shared the happy news on her Instagram alongside a picture of the two cuddling, with the simple caption:

“Here’s to forever 💍”

Not revealing many more details of the magical evening, MIC friends and cast mates rushed to congratulate the pair, who continued their celebrations, marking the holiday of a lifetime.

But now, just over a week later, Lucy is reflecting on the special day, sharing a photo of herself and James taken after the engagement.

Explaining that a couple came up to congratulate the pair on their exciting news, as they begin a new chapter in their lives, Lucy added that the pair who were married 32 years, let the newly engaged in on the “secret” of marriage.

“They told us they’d been married for 32 years and the secret is compromise 💍🙏🏼 this is something we’ve both learnt over the last 5 & 1/2 years of being together & hearing about long standing relationships like theirs warms my frozen heart,” explained Lucy.

Lucy and James struck up a romance on the reality TV show over five years ago, and have been going steady since, sharing snippets of their relationship on social media for the world to see.

We cannot wait for this wedding, imagine the dress!
