Mac Miller’s Friend Has Said Ariana Grande Was ‘Unbelievably Involved’ In His Sobriety
Mac tragically died at his home of an apparent overdose on September 7th.
Mac Miller’s friend has revealed that his ex Ariana Grande played a huge role in helping him get sober.
Radio show host Shane Powers said goodbye to his friend in his latest podcast, and also praised Ariana Grande for doing everything she could to keep Mac sober.
In response to claims that Ariana played a role in the sudden death of her ex boyfriend, Shane said:
They were very much in love and I have to say, she was incredible when he was first sobering up. She was a fucking G to him.
There could not have been anybody more supportive of him being sober than Ariana. I saw that, I was around it. I took phone calls from her. ‘How do I help,’ ‘What do I do?’
He continued to say:
This little girl was unbelievably involved and helpful to him being healthy. Because whether he was an addict of not, the way that Mac partied was not healthy.
I gotta tell you, man, there was no one in his life more ready to go to the wall for him when it came to him being sober.

A day after Mac Miller’s death, Ariana Grande was forced to disable commenting on her Instagram account, as she was receiving hateful messages. In response to the hate, Mac’s friend defended the singer via his Twitter account.
Ariana Grande didn’t kill Mac. Mac killed Mac. Leave her alone. He’d be furious with ANYONE who made any shitty comment to her.
I’d fuckin know.
Leave her alone.
