Maura Higgins Tipped To Take Over Love Island US Hosting Duties
She’s making waves in the US!
Maura Higgins has just started in her new role as social media ambassador for Love Island US and already the fans have spoken.
It seems many fans of the US show believe Maura would suit the role better than current host Sarah Hyland.
The Longford native delighted fans on Sunday night when she made her new debut on the show to host a challenge.
According to BoyleSports Maura has been backed into 10/11 odds from 5/4 to host the next season of the US hit reality dating show.

A spokesperson for BoyleSports, Sarah Kinsella said: “Love Island fans are calling for Maura Higgins to front the American version… the reaction from her appearance in the USA suggests we could be seeing a lot ‘Maura’ her!”
Sarah Hyland began hosting the show last summer, a gig she was delighted to get.
She told E!News at the time: “Love Island is such an iconic show and I love the dating reality space. I’m just so thrilled and honoured to be a part of this…They always have the hottest people on their show.”
She continued on saying: “I really love that the girls, for the most part, stick together and really bond and stand up for one another. As a woman, I love it when I get to see that on television.”

Adding: “But I definitely know that we’re going to have a lot of unexpected surprises and unpredictable twists that we’ve never seen. We’re pushing the boundaries this time around.”
We can’t wait to see if the rumours are true!
