Mel B Finally Settles Divorce Agreement With Ex-Partner Stephen Belafonte

The deal includes spousal support, child custody and what to do with the family home.

Mel B split from her husband, Stephen Belafonte, in April after 10 years of marriage, claiming he was physically abusive towards her. She was granted a restraining order from him by an L.A. judge, though Stephen denied the allegations.

Now the former couple have settled their divorce agreement, which will be finalised once a judge signs off on it. According to TMZ, the agreement states that Stephen will destroy any compromising videos of Mel, and in return she will pay him spousal support for the next three years.

Neither of them will have to pay child support to the other, and they’ll share joint legal custody of their 6-year-old daughter, Madison.

Mel has also agreed to give Stephen access to the family house to retrieve any personal belongings, including childhood photos and clothes. Once, he’s taken all of his things, the house will be sold and the pair will split the profits.
