Michaella McCollum Has Reportedly Signed A TV Deal And It’s Completely Out Of Left Field

The convicted drug mule was rumoured to be appearing on Big Brother, but has instead signed a 'six figure' deal for something else.

Michaella McCollum, one half of the Peru Two drug smugglers who were caught trying to bring cocaine into Spain, has reportedly landed herself a TV deal.

The Tyrone native was rumoured to be appearing on Celebrity Big Brother, alongside her fellow convicted drug smuggler Melissa Reid, but according to Daily Record, she’s already signed on to present a crime series.

“Michaella is in Liverpool finalising negotiations for her prime time documentary series delving into unsolved or unusual crime cases around the world,” a source tells Metro.

“She has been inundated with offers for her own TV shows but this will see her travel around the world interviewing suspected death row inmates to extremists and people proclaiming their innocence.”

The Daily Mail reports that Michaella has already started work on the show and was meeting with potential interviewees for the show in Liverpool yesterday.
