Great news for podcast fans! Michelle Obama is launching her very own Podcast with Spotify later this month.
While we’ve been stuck indoors for the last, who even knows how long anymore, it’s likely that you, like many others, have made your way through most of your favourite Podcasts. While there’s certainly no shortage of pods to listen to, finding a really good one that just gets you, is a rarity.
But, luckily for us, Michelle Obama, former first lady, and all-round bad b has announced that she is launching her very own podcast for fans to listen to starting from the end of July.
The series will be exclusive to Spotify and will focus on all things relationships. So, all things friends, partners, parents, siblings, mentors, and oneself will be explored by Michelle and guests such as her mam, brother, TV host Conan O’Brien and journalist Michele Norris.

Giving us a taste of what we can expect, Michelle announced the news on her Instagram, writing:
“I’m thrilled to announce a new project: The #MichelleObamaPodcast with @Spotify! It’s been a tough year, and I hope this podcast can help us explore what we’re going through and spark new conversations with our loved ones. I can’t wait for you all to listen––the first episode drops July 29!
“Mostly, I hope this podcast will help you open up new conversations––and hard conversations––with the people who matter most to you. That’s how we can build more understanding and empathy for one another––especially during times like this.” she continued.
Ugh, we feel empowered already.
The Michelle Obama Podcast will be streaming on Spotify from July 29.
