Miley Cyrus Is Not Bothered That Cher “Hates” Her: “It’s Still A Compliment.”

We can’t imagine being able to put a positive spin on Cher disliking us, but Miley Cyrus has been able to. The Midnight Sky singer was interviewed on SiriusXM’s Live Transmission Christmas and spoke about the hate she has received over the years.

It all began when she shed her sweet and innocent Hannah Montana days and began showing her rebellious side with the release of her album, Bangerz.

This was peak wild Miley, and the world was slightly shocked by her Wrecking Ball video and her performance with Robin Thicke at the MTV VMA’s.

All of this happened around 2013 and Cher had a few things to say at the time.

Speaking with E!News Cher revealed that she wanted Miley to; “just be better, do better. I don’t give a s**t if she comes out naked.”

“Maybe she’s thrilled and delighted—everyone’s talking about it.”

Speaking about this incident now Miley revealed that she takes it all positively; “The amount of people that have talked s**t about my records or what I’m doing, you know, I had Cher come after me on Twitter, but that’s when I thought I had really made it.”

“I’m like, ‘Oh, Cher gives a f**k about what I’m doing.'”

If anything, Miley shared that she’s just buzzed that a legend like Cher wants to discuss her; “She was mad that I was sticking my tongue out all the time and all that s**t. And I’m like, ‘Yo, I p*ssed Cher off, I really made it.”

“When these legends and these icons and these artists that we look up to… f**king hate us, it’s still a compliment.”

It will take a lot more than a few tweets to stop Miley that’s for sure.
