Molly Mae Hague Reveals Why She Got Her Lip Fillers Dissolved

"I've made so many mistakes when it comes to filler and work done on my face and I'm slowly starting to reverse it all."

One of Love Island 2019’s biggest stars, Molly Mae Hague made the decision to get her lip fillers dissolved this week.

Like almost every star of the reality show, since appearing on our screens she had received criticism for her choice to get lip fillers. However, it’s a look we’re all used to now, we almost expect reality TV stars to have a similar image, including plumped up lips.

Molly, who regularly uploads weekly vlogs to YouTube, shared a video yesterday explaining why she decided to get her fillers dissolved and revealed her new look without them.

During the video Molly revealed that she’s been getting filler from a young age and that now she’s planning on; “really toning things down, making myself feel a lot more natural.”

“I’ve beenĀ getting my lips filled with filler since I was about 17 which is literally ridiculous.”

Now Molly is on a mission to reverse a lot of tweakments she’s had over the years, including dissolving other areas of filler on her face and making her teeth look more natural.

She is starting with her lips as she shared; “over the last few months I’ve really noticed how unnatural they look” and “they just feel really hard and it’s just time they went.”

Sharing updates throughout the video, Molly showed her lips up close. Revealing she has about 5ml of filler in them, they were “hard” and full of lumps and bumps.

One of her biggest regrets is getting them done so young and that she wishes she’d gone somewhere “proper”” that could have made them look more natural.

“After years of going to different people I ended up with botched lips,” she shared.

“I’ve made so many mistakes when it comes to filler and work done on my face and I’m slowly starting to reverse it all.”

It’s not that often we see someone in the public eye speak about regret or reversals of cosmetic procedures, as usually we just see people either promoting them or keeping them secret.

We think it’s amazing that Molly is being so honest and sharing this process and showing more of her natural self!
