Molly-Mae Hague has been noted as the richest Love Island contestant to ever come off the ITV show. Despite facing many a controversy over the past three years since appearing on the fifth season of the show in 2019, the influencer has continued to rise – both in popularity and wealth.

It’s believed that over the pandemic, Molly-Mae added £2 million (€2.3 million) to her bank account, bringing her to a staggering total of £6 million (€7 million).

Helping her to soar include her six figure deal with PrettyLittleThing, announcing herself as their new creative director earlier this year, as well as her fake tanning line, Filter by Molly-Mae. It’s believed that by the end of 2021, reports by The Sun note that the Islander made a sweet £848,000 (€990K) profit. Not bad going for a 22-year-old.

But now that we know Molly-Mae is on top of the list? Who’s behind her?

Well, unsurprisingly, coming in second place and linked to Molly-Mae is her boyfriend and fellow Islander, Tommy Fury.

According to The Mirror, Tommy Fury is believed to have an impressive £3 million (€3.5 million), coming predominately from his boxing and brand deals.

Following in third place, and again funnily enough, linked to Molly-Mae is best friend, Longford lady and Love Island star Maura Higgins. It’s believed Maura hit millionaire status during the pandemic. Between signing deals with Ann Summers, Bellamianta and various fashion endorsements, The Sun reports that in 2021 Maura made over £500,000 (€586, 209) on brand deals alone. It’s also believed the star can also charge upwards of €10,000 per Instagram post due to her highly engaged audience.

So, who else is up there? Well, other names that I’m sure you’re familiar with include some of the shows winners, both Amber Gill who won in 2020 and Dani Dyer from 2018 are in the top earners list. Olivia Bowen, Kem Cetinay – who has just collabed with Primark again for a new men’s edit, Chris Hughes and Dr Alex George all made the cut, charging anywhere and everywhere from upwards of €5,000 for an endorsed Instagram post, with top earner Molly-Mae apparently charging upwards of €14,000.
