My 30 Day Yoga Challenge Diary: Day 14 & I’m Feeling Like I’ve Found Myself
It's Day 14 of Laura Somers' yoga challenge and she finally feels like she's on a spiritual journey.
I knew today was going to be a good day, and I woke up mega excited to go to yoga class, because today’s session was outside. Yay!
The weather was as hormonal as ever but it’s like the gods knew how hyped I was and decided to let the sun shine for the whole class.
The class took place in St.Stephens Green Park and it was just amazing. The fresh air made the difficult poses far more doable because we weren’t sweltering in a tiny cramped room.
Never did I think I would be one of those people who claims to have ‘found myself’ but I promise, for at least half an hour after the class I really felt at peace.
The instructor recommended we become one with the earth, and I have to say for the first time ever I actually listened and really did feel at one with nature.
Never did I think I would be one of those people who claims to have ‘found myself’ but I promise for at least half an hour after the class I really felt at peace.
That feeling was short lived, though as I completely lost my zen when the bus home broke down not one, but a total of five times.
But all things considered, that half hour of calm was like an outer body experience and I wish we could do all our yoga classes outside. It would seriously help my stress levels.
