‘My Hero’: John Krasinski’s Love For Emily Blunt Just Made Us Cry Salty Tears Again

John Krasinski and Emily Blunt have long been couple goals for us, and the former has just cemented their place as Cutest Celeb Pairing with his latest interview.

The actor, who has just welcomed his second daughter with his wife of six years, gushed about his family to the TODAY Show over the weekend.

Speaking about the strict diet and fitness regime he undertook for his role as a Navy SEAL in upcoming action flick 13 Hours, the former US Office star said he took some #fitspo from Emily.

“She’s been in shape for movies like this and she’s just generally always in shape in a frustrating way,” he joked. Of course, it wouldn’t be a John Krasinski interview if we weren’t reduced to tears just a little, and the dad-of-two pulled out the big guns for this one.

“My wife is my hero in every single way. Truly every single day I’m blown away by her,” he shared. “So I’m always looking to her for inspiration.”

Emily’s not the only woman in John’s life that he admires, either. In a recent interview with People, the actor said his two-year-old Hazel had been “amazing” with her new little sister, Violet, who was born in June 2016.

“It’s a great age because she [Hazel] is still young enough to not feel competitive with the baby, but still old enough to recognise how adorable the baby is. I think she’s in heaven. When Hazel gives a hug to Violet, right there in that moment you can see this huge relationship that will last much longer than I’m around … it’s so beautiful.
