What’s the best thing about blogging Freya?

It has to be the entire blogging community. I’ve met so many amazing people. I love how it brings so many of us together and it’s helped me get to know people who live in so many other places around the world too.
 It’s opened so many doors of opportunity!

Do you get sent lovely goodies all the time?

I do! I’m very grateful to the people and companies that send me goodies to try out for review. My postman’s probably not my biggest fan at the moment. I’ve had packages coming to my door almost every day recently!

What’s the best thing you’ve ever received?

It’s a tough question! I’d probably have to be a pair of Dior sunglasses I received earlier this year. As soon as I tried them on I almost died at how gorgeous they were.

How would you describe your personal style?

I’d probably describe it as simple but a little bit edgy too. I love pairing staple pieces like an oversized black top and a pair of staple jeans with an unusual jacket or bag. I like to try and balance out my outfits so they’re not too simple. That’s why it’s good to invest in a few unique pieces.

What will you be wearing a lot of this Christmas?

I’ll be wearing a lot of dark colours like burgundy and deep green and also be making things festive with some sparkle. I love fashion during the Christmas period. It’s a great opportunity to wear those slightly more daring things that you might not wear on a regular day.

What’s on your Christmas wish list?

I’ve got one of the amazing Olympus Pen cameras on my Santa list. Almost every serious blogger has one at this stage and they’re just ideal. It’s a perfect size to just throw in any bag so you’re always ready for any photo opportunities that may pop up.

Where should we go shopping for our Christmas wardrobe?

Boohoo, Missguided and Asos have some amazing pieces for the party season. I’m a huge fan of online shopping and these are three of my favourites. I’d definitely recommend ordering in advance though, just in case your Christmas outfit doesn’t come in time! That’d be a disaster.

Your make-up is always immaculate. Tell us a bit about your routine.

Thank you! I like to use a lot of budget beauty products for my make-up routine. There are so many amazing products out there for such affordable prices! Doing my eyebrows definitely takes the longest as I’m a little bit of an eyebrow perfectionist. I absolutely love contouring and I use highlighter every day. Then I’ll top it off with a nice matte lip and I’ll use one of my MAC lip liners all over my lips. Some of my faves include ‘Spice’ and ‘Burgundy’.

Can you tell us how you achieved the above look including the products you used?

In this make-up look (above) I tried to create quite an autumn/winter look with nice warm brown tones on the eyes and especially on the lips. Having brown hair and brown eyes I feel like brown shades in eyeshadows and lip products are really complimentary. Here on my eyes I have actually used one of the contour shades by Inglot in ‘512’ which is gorgeous as an eyeshadow and I’m wearing ‘Spice’ lip liner by MAC, mixed with a bit of a Rimmel Lip liner in ‘Cappuccino’.

What are the essentials in your Christmas make-up bag?

Definitely a good compact powder to keep your make-up looking nice and matte during the craziness of all the parties and dinners. And definitely some trusty matte lipsticks and liners.
