Nicola Coughlan Is Serving Us ‘Debs Energy’ In Latest Picture With Paul Mescal

The Irish were out in force in London last weekend, as Paul Mescal and Nicola Coughlan enjoyed a night of celebration together along with some famous pals following The Baftas.

Now, behind the scenes pictures have emerged of the gang partying together, with Nicola making a joke likening the scenes to a Debs party.

‘Yes look I agree this has huge Debs energy,” Nicola said about a picture of her, Paul, Paul’s rumoured-but-basically-confirmed girlfriend, Phoebe Bridgers, and Mae Martin.

Paul also had good reason to celebrate that night, as he took home the title of leading TV actor for his part of Connell in 2020 hit TV series, Normal People.

During his acceptance speech the 25-year-old admitted he was shocked to receive the award:

“I fully was not expecting to be here so I have no clue what I am going to say”

He did go on to thank everyone around him, including his co-star Daisy Edgar-Jones, his agent, and his parents.

“Lara Beach, you are the best agent out there. I want to thank the cast. I want to dedicate this to Daisy who is the best scene partner and one of the best people I know.”

“My mum and dad at home, I love you. So, thank you. I don’t know what else to say.”

Also up for a nomination was Paul’s pal Nicola Coughlan, who missed out on the title of ‘Must See Moment’ for the scene in which she was revealed as Lady Whistledown in period drama Bridgerton.
