Nicola Coughlan Shares First Glimpse At Bridgerton Season 3

Oh we’ve been waiting for this one.

We were blessed with Bridgerton spin-off Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, earlier this year. Which was highly-anticipated after having to wait so long since season two of the hit series.

But making up for the long wait, we are also getting season three of Bridgerton soon. Holding us over while we wait, Nicola Coughlan, who stars as Penelope Featherington shared a look at the upcoming series on IG.

From the pics it looks like Pen is going through a bit of a make-over, swapping her tied-curled updos for glamorous waves, and trading the brightly coloured Featherington dresses, for more muted tones.

Colin Bridgerton also seems to have go through a transformation, enjoying a more colourful and creative wardrobe.

While we don’t have a release date for the third installment of the hit period drama, we do have the low-down on what to expect from the show.

This season’s lovestory will follow longtime friends Penelope and Colin…and since its Bridgerton you know it isn’t going to be a smooth journey.

After hearing Colin speak negatively about her in season two, Pen has decided to move on, and let go of the crush she has been harbouring for years. Focusing on finding a marriage that would allow her freedom to continuing writing as Lady Whistledown.

Meanwhile, Colin is back from his travels, but is hurt to return and discover that Penelope is rebuffing him.

Hoping to repair their relationship, Colin offers to help Pen find a husband, teaching her the tricks of the ton. But when his methods work a little too well, the third eldest Bridgerton isn’t happy…jealous even!
