#NoFacetune: The New Instagram Hashtag That’s Saying No To Photo Editing

Do you know your Amaro from your Ludwig filter? Your Crema from your Lark? Yes? You’re not alone! We’ve become totally obsessed with filters and how we can use them to make us look totally flawless.

And if you’re as obsessed with filters as we are at here STELLAR HQ chances are you’ve used and abused the app Facetune. It’s used to transform your face and get rid of all your blemishes with one swift move.  Although we do love looking our absolute best, there’s no doubt this is creating unrealistic expectations about female beauty.

To help stop these unrealistic expectations natural beauts from around the world have started posting selfies along with the hashtag #Nofacetune. Although we love pretending to be flawless occasionally, we can deffo get on board with this new hashtag.

Some women are posting pics with no filters as well as no Facetune, we salute these gals for embracing their natural beauty. Don’t they all look absolutely fabulous without a filter anyways?
