Some helpful tips

Money matters

Change your euro for pounds with no commission thanks to the An Post Money Currency Card. It’s a prepaid Mastercard that lets you load up to 16 currencies online, in the post office, or through the app, making travel that little bit easier.

Plus, it’s the perfect thing to help you avoid all of those holiday money issues, with a 24/7 global helpline. No need to panic if you lose your card either – there’s emergency cash available, right up to the value you had loaded (though you get two cards just in case!)

Just like your other cards, you can use it in shops with chip and PIN or contactless, or take cash out at ATMs. You can also keep an eye on what you’re spending online or on the app, so you can shop on Oxford Street until you drop (just stick to your budget!)

You can sign up right now at anpost office, all you need to do is bring along proof of ID and proof of address like a bank statement. You’ll get your cards there and then. Stunning! Plus, if you want to take some cash with you, sterling is available at all post offices.
