Paige Thorne Addresses Rumours That Love Island’s Scott Van Der Sluis Is Her Ex Fiancé

After rumours have been flying about that Love Island star Scott van-der-Sluis is actually Paige Thorne’s ex-fiancé, the previous Love Islander has finally addressed her fans.

Paige Thorne starred on season 8 of Love Island. Reports have been flying in all over the media about the pair’s alleged romance since goalkeeper Scott joined the show as a bombshell recently.

The Uk Sun reported that a source said, “They met out on the party scene as Paige knows lots of footballers. It didn’t end for any reason in particular, just one of those things. They were both young and not looking for anything serious.”

When Paige appeared on Love Island she said she entered the competition after her ex-fiancé dumped her, so naturally fans have jumped to conclusions.

Paige took to Instagram to shut down these rumours in a Q&A where she wrote ,“False news!”. She also added a selfie of the pair together and explained, “Met him around 3 years ago through a friend whilst he was living in Swansea x”

Paige further shut rumours down when confirming in the same Q&A that she is actually back with her ex Jacques O’Neill – who she met on Love Island. She said, “Not too much to say on this because there’s honestly nothing to really say. However we are on good terms and just want each other to be happy.”
