Over the past year, Paris Hilton has been filming a new YouTube Originals documentary, This Is Paris. The series is set to show parts of Paris’ life which has never been shown before. This includes Paris opening up about a traumatic incident from her childhood.

According to People, a preview of the documentary shows Paris speaking about a childhood incident, saying it still gives her nightmares. Speaking about mental abuse she endured at boarding school, Paris said, “I’m nervous. I’m shaking. It’s hard to even eat, because my stomach is just like, turning. I don’t know—it’s something that’s very personal, and not something I like talking about.”

She then continued, “No one really knows who I am. Something happened in my childhood that I’ve never talked about with anyone. I still have nightmares about it.”

Fans will have to wait until the documentary is released to hear the full story, but Paris recently stated in an interview that the filming as “very therapeutic” and that the documentary itself will allow fans to “see a different side to me than they’ve ever seen before.”

She added, “Because I honestly didn’t even know who I was up until this year. I really learned a lot about myself through this film.”

The full synopsis of the doc is described as, “This Is Paris uncovers the hidden past of the international icon.
