People Are Criticising Meghan Markle For Holding Baby Archie Wrong
"Someone teach the actress how to hold a child, good grief...”
Another day, another mummy-shaming story, this time around it’s on Meghan Markle.
The Duchess of Sussex took baby Archie on his first public outing, so naturally, there were plenty of pics papped.
She and sister-in-law Kate Middleton were there watch Prince William and Prince Harry go head-to-head in the King Power Royal Charity Polo Day.
It wasn’t long before people on the internet started to criticise Meghan – this time it was for the way she was holding her son.
Over on Instagram, under OK Magazine’s pics, the comments got pretty heated:

“Does she even know how to carry a child ? been 2 months already,” one person said.
Another added: “Can someone please have mercy on that poor Archie and teach his mother how to hold him!”
“Hahaha ohhh dear. Someone teach the actress how to hold a child, good grief,” was another one.
Over on Twitter, people also had lots to say…
#MeghanMarkle looks so uncomfortable holding her baby.

Someone give Meghan Markle baby holding lessons. This is giving me anxiety. pic.twitter.com/mpvuDzmb7V

Is it just me or that’s NOT how you’re supposed to hold a newborn? I get anxious simply looking at these pictures. It’s sad that Meghan Markle seems so awkward and uncomfortable around her own son ? pic.twitter.com/ZzfIRj1SfK

An even more bonkers theory that has now surfaced is that Meghan uses a fake baby for these types of outings…
It’s a doll. The arms are still bent, never straighten out. A sleeping baby doesn’t keep its arms bent. The muscles are relaxed, arms are floppy. Borrowed baby for christening. Dolls for other events. pic.twitter.com/b9kha7p01s

It goes without saying, but parenting is hard and everyone figures out their own way of doing things. Baby Archie seems pretty content in his mamma’s arms so maybe everyone should work on being a little more content in general before jumping online…
