Perrie Edwards Celebrates Son Axel’s First Birthday

Aghh they grow up so fast!!

It was quite the weekend for Perrie Edwards and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain as the pair celebrated their son Axel’s very first birthday. Awwwhhh!!!

The singer took to Instagram to mark the joyous occasion by sharing a series of unseen photos and clips in a touching montage, and let us tell you this – it was truly adorable.

She wrote alongside it: “A whole year of Axel. Memories to cherish forever. I love you my absolute joy, you’ll always be my baby boy.”

It included clips from when Perrie gave birth to him, his first year in the world, holiday adventures and right up to what looks like a pretty fun first birthday party for the tot, which of course showed Axel and dad Alex donning party hats. Talk about father and son goals!!

Hubby, Alex also celebrated the big day on socials by sharing the video that Perrie had posted to his Instagram story.

Fans and celebrity friends were quick to wish little Axel a Happy Birthday, flooding the comments with their thoughts and love.

While just the other week, bestie and band member, Leigh-Anne Pinnock also celebrated her baby twins’ first birthday which she shares with fiance Andre Gray.

Taking to Instagram, the mum of two shared an array of photos writing, “Our cubbies turn one today. I am filled with so much emotion, pride but mostly happiness. I never knew how this was going to change my life, being a mum to two incredible little bubbas.”

Leigh-Anne and Perrie had fans in a frenzy when they announced they were pregnant within days of each other, with them both giving birth to their little ones just a week apart last year.

Just a few months ago, Little Mix announced their indefinite hiatus but Perrie, Leigh-Anne, and bandmate Jade Thirlwall are still the best of friends and continue to support each other throughout their future endeavours.
