Pete Davidson Doesn’t Get The ‘Crazy Fascination’ With The Age Gap Between Him And Kate Beckinsale

He can list a whole host of famous men who date much younger women.

Pete Davidson certainly mined his relationship with Ariana Grande for comedy, and it seems he’s going to do the same with Kate Beckinsale.

Pete and Kate have been causing quite the stir since they were first spotted together at the Golden Globes, and last week were seen fully shifting at a hockey game while poor Antoni Porowski tried his best to ignore them.

Some people have been commenting on the age difference – Pete is 25, Kate’s 45 – but it’s clear that they’re not particularly bothered about that.

On this weekend’s episode of Saturday Night Live, Pete mocked the double standards that society holds about women dating younger men.

“Apparently people have a crazy fascination with our age difference,” he said during the show’s Weekend Update segment. “But it doesn’t really bother us. Then again, I’m new to this.”

So if you have questions about a relationship with a big age difference, just ask Leonardo DiCaprio, Jason Statham, Michael Douglas, Richard Gere, Jeff Goldblum, Scott Disick, Bruce Willis, Harrison Ford, Alec Baldwin, Sean Penn, whoever the president of France is, Mel Gibson, Billy Joel, Mick Jagger, Sylvester Stallone, Eddie Murphy, Kelsey Grammer, Larry King, Larry King, Larry King, Rod Stewart, and Donald Trump.

Hoho. Touché, Pete. These guys don’t get a whole load of scrutiny for dating much younger women, besides perhaps the odd crack here and there.

The only exception in Pete’s list is ‘whoever the president of France is’ – he is of course referring to Emmanuel Macron, who is 24 years younger than his wife Brigitte.

Sure leave them at it. As long as they’re happy, no harm.
