Phoebe Bridgers Says Her Christmas In Maynooth Was Her ‘Best One Ever’

Last Christmas, American singer Phoebe Bridgers spent her festive season in Kildare with her boyfriend Paul Mescal, and his family.

At the time the Irish corner of the internet was alight with random information that was emerging from their Christmas in Maynooth. This tweet in particular lives on in our minds.

My mam just met Paul Mescal’s uncle for coffee and he informed her that Paul’s new girlfriend is “very artsy”.

But now Phoebe herself has (briefly) opened up about her Christmas spent here. Chatting with Vogue Magazine, she was asked when was her best Christmas ever? To which she replied:

“Last year, I stayed with my boyfriend’s (Paul Mescal) family in Ireland. It was a full rom-com.”

As for how the pair plan on spending Christmas this year, we’re not sure.

It’s been a big year for the couple, as engagement rumours have been following them for a number of months.

Although nothing is confirmed, Phoebe apparently referred to Paul as her ‘Fiancé’ at Coachella music festival on numerous occasions.

Although, Phoebe did call Paul her ‘boyfriend’ in her recent interview with Vogue, so who knows at this point.

We’re just happy she had a good Christmas in Maynooth.
