Podcaster Georgie Crawford Has Welcomed Her Second Child Via Surrogate

Congratulations are in order for Georgie and Jamie Crawford, as the couple has just welcomed their second child into the world this week.

The family travelled to Georgia earlier this month where they would welcome their tot via surrogate.

Georgie was overjoyed to share the news of her little one’s arrival into the world.

She shared several pictures holding the newborn in hospital, as well as proud papa Jamie beaming with the tot in his arms. And big sister Pia couldn’t have been more excited to meet her new sister.

“Just before lunchtime on Monday, Tahlie Crawford made her entrance into the world,” Georgie wrote.

“All 5 pounds 7 ounces of her! Her name meaning ‘leaping water’ representing the many trips to many countries she made as a tiny embryo. To hold our surrogate mother’s hand with Tahlie between us & knowing we will be forever connected has changed me forever.

“She has given us the greatest gift of our lives. We are so grateful to the kindness and love we have received in Georgia and we cannot wait to come home as a family of 5 (not forgetting Piper).

How gorgeous!

Georgie and Jamie announced they were expecting baby number two, via surrogate, back in April.

They had previously hoped to do an embryo transfer over in the Ukraine last year but due to the war, it meant the pair were forced to delay their journey to becoming parents.

Georgie was also diagnosed with breast cancer in 2017 shortly after the birth of her first child, Pia, and ever since has been very open with her decision to go down the surrogacy route in order to welcome a second child.
