Pride 2023: How Irish Stars Celebrated And Showed Their Support

Happy Pride!

Pride 2023 has arrived!

Yesterday thousands took to the streets of Dublin to celebrate Ireland’s LGBTQIA+ community, championing diversity and inclusion.

With so many sharing their support, here is how Ireland stars celebrated the important occasion.

Brian and Arthur had a very busy day!

Firstly Brian joined Ireland AM’s weekend team for some pride coverage, before meeting up with Arthur to enjoy some celebrates in Dublin City.

This year marked an important pride celebration, and not just cause its baby Bake’s first one, but because it was Arthur’s first time at the Dublin parade.

Taking to Instagram, he wrote: “Well, today I accomplished my first-ever Dublin Pride Parade 🇮🇪 and it was hot, sweaty, and incredible. Loved every min of it. Now Daddy @bprdowling and Papa are out to celebrate Pride. LET’S DO THIS. Happy Pride you gorgeous people.”

With colleagues from Boots Ireland walking in the Dublin Pride Parade is Arthur Gourounlian.

For Arthur’s first Dublin Pride he teamed up with Boots, who sponsored the event, saying: “I am so delighted to be leading Boots colleagues in the Pride parade today. The passion and enthusiasm is palpable and it’s a very special day to be part of.”

James celebrated with his family this year, and of course, brought out his Malahide Woman persona for the occasion.

Sharing snaps on Instagram, he wrote: “Happy Pride Gals! Malahide Woman says here’s to lovin’, livin’ and keepin’ her jaysus lit”

Kellie enjoyed Dublin Pride with her wife Mandy.

The boxer also took to social media sharing a photo from their wedding, writing: “My Pride and My Joy #InCaseNobodytoldYouToday #YourSpecial”

Tara returned from London for Dublin Pride.

Davina, of course, looked stunning this pride. Opting for a silver corset dress with pink detailing from designer Mairéad Lee.

Victoria was a vision in purple this Pride. She took to Instagram to share her stunning look and also celebrate the massive turn out for Pride this year.

She said: “DUBLIN PRIDE, The biggest crowd we’ve ever had”

Paddy enjoyed Pride celebrations in Dublin but also took to Instagram to share the importance of Pride and what it stands for.

The reality star wrote: “With hate crime and uncertainty on the rise you can really see an undercurrent of regression happening.”

“Which is scary and so sad to see, I love this country and I’ve been blessed to have a support network around me that backs me and allows me to be who I am without fear or judgment. Thank you to them,” he continued.

“Don’t we all deserve love? Don’t we all serve to feel safe and be ourselves? Remember Pride is a celebration of uniqueness but it is also a protest to stand up for what’s right. Stand with us! Happy Pride. Be safe.”
