Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Involved In Anthrax Scare
A suspicious letter was sent to Kensington Palace addressed to the couple.
Prince Harry and his fiancé Meghan Markle were at the centre of an anthrax scare after an envelope containing a suspicious white powder was sent to their Kensington Palace home.
The letter was addressed to both Harry and Meghan and was received on February 12th.
The letter didn’t reach the couple as it was intercepted by staff, however both Harry and Meghan have been informed of the incident.
Reports from The Evening Standard state that the substance was discovered to be harmless after it was analysed by chemical experts. The letter also contained a racist message.
Police received a similar letter just one day later that had been sent to the Houses of Parliament and was addressed to Home Secretary Amber Rudd. It is believed that the letters came from the same source.
The incident has raised concerns about security at Harry and Meghan’s Royal wedding on Saturday, May 19th.
