Regé-Jean Page Shares How His Family Reacted To Raunchy Bridgerton Scenes

Our 2021 crush, Regé-Jean Page has shared how his family reacted to the many raunchy scenes in Netflix hit, Bridgerton.

We cringe at the thought of watching the steamy show with our parents, so we can’t imagine what it feels like to be in it…we think the spoon licking scene is as much as we’d let them watch.

Regé, who plays Simon the Duke of Hastings in the series, appeared on The Graham Norton Show this weekend and shared that he didn’t warn some of his family about the raunchier aspect to Bridgerton.

Speaking specifically about some cousins in the family he revealed they; “made our tactical cups of tea when you started and when we came back you were still going!”

The sexual chemistry between Phoebe Dyvenor and Regé was vital to the program and the actors have spoken before about how comfortable they felt filming these scenes due to an intimacy co-ordinator on set.

Luckily for us the show is set to come back for a second season, so we think his family should be a little more prepared for next time…

The cast are set to re-unite this Spring to begin filming for the second season, which will take place in the UK.

Keeping stum about more details, the press release reads; “Bridgerton shall officially return for a second season. I do hope you have stored a bottle of ratafia for this most delightful occasion”

“The incomparable cast of Bridgerton will return to production in the Spring of 2021”
