Rihanna And A$AP Rocky’s Second Son’s Name Reportedly Revealed

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are loving life as parents to baby RZA and their second baby boy, who was born last month.

But we’re pretty curious about the moniker the power couple have chosen for their little man. Considering it took a year for the pair to reveal RZA’s name, we were prepared to wait.

However, we might not have to, as it seems their second baby boy’s name has already been made public. According to The Blast, Rihanna and A$AP have chosen the name Riot Rose Mayers for their newborn.

The publication obtained a copy of the baby’s birth certificate, which stated his name to be Riot Rose.

It would work well with their family as both mum Rihanna and big brother RZA start with R. So maybe an alliteration trend?

RZA is an homage to leader of the hip-hop/rap collective Wu-Tang Clan, RZA. The name actually follows one of A$AP Rocky’s family traditions of naming the kids after rap artists. With A$AP himself, who’s full name is Rakim Athelaston Mayers, being named in honour of Rakim from the duo Eric B. & Rakim.

No word of if baby Riot Rose has been named after a music legend, but there are some theories.

Earlier this year, A$AP collaborated with Pharrell Williams on the song Riot, and so maybe their baby name is an homage to the track?

Rihanna announced she was expecting baby no. two in February, whilst performing at the Super Bowl.

Creating one of the most iconic moments of the year, Riri showed off her bump in a red jumpsuit and performed her greatest hits.

She and A$AP welcomed their second son in August.
