Rihanna made waves with her lingerie brand, Savage x Fenty, being credited with promoting inclusivity and revolutionising the industry.

But now the singer has announced she is stepping away from the company.

Riri has been at the helm since she launched the company five years ago, but is now passing the baton to business woman Hillary Super, who previously worked for Anthropologie Group.

“It’s been beautiful to see our vision for Savage X Fenty impact the industry at such an incredible magnitude over the last five years,” Rihanna said in a statement.

“This is just the beginning for us, and we’re going to continue to expand in ways that always connect with the consumer. I’m so grateful and excited to welcome Hillary Super as our new CEO – she is a strong leader and is focused on taking the business to an even higher level,” she continued.

However, Rihanna isn’t completely leaving the company as she will still be involved in a leadership role as executive chair.

The Man Down songstress is still firmly in the business world though, with her makeup brand Fenty Beauty. Her net worth is an estimated $1.4bn, according to Vogue.

The singer is currently expecting her second child with A$AP Rocky.

She announced her pregnancy while performing at the Super Bowl earlier this year.

The pair welcomed their first child, a baby boy last year, and revealed his name was RZA Athelston just last month.
