Ryan Reynolds Had The Most Hilarious Response To A Fan Asking For ‘Marriage Advice’

Ryan Reynolds’ Twitter feed generally toes the line between funny and wildly inappropriate, and his latest tweet is no different.

The Deadpool actor, who just last month welcomed a second child with his wife Blake Lively, took to social media to respond to a fan’s question about married life – but he kept things cuttingly smart as usual.

Quoting a tweet in which a soon-to-be husband asked the actor for “celebrity advice on how to keep happy wife/life,” Ryan wrote, “You’ve come to the right place, Dirk. Celebrities are the gold standard for relationship advice.”

It’s a pretty accurate response, considering Ryan’s own storied relationship history.

Before tying the knot with Blake back in 2012, Ryan was married to Scarlett Johansson for three years. The pair split in 2010, at which point there were already rumblings of a romance between Ryan and Blake. Oo-er.

Earlier in the week, the dad-of-two responded to a follower’s request for “sage advice” about becoming a father with the suggestion, “Ask your doctor if you qualify for an extension. A 4th, possibly even 5th trimester can be very peaceful for the father. Congrats.”

Despite his dry humour though, it’s clear Ryan is very much a doting dad and husband. “I’ll do anything to be with them,” he said of his wife and kids to AOL recently, describing how he boarded a plane to Bangkok to see Blake and little James “within an hour” of wrapping on filming Deadpool.

“I still had chunks of glue from the scar makeup on my face,” he admitted. That’s dedication.
