Saoirse Ronan And Dua Lipa Are Expected To Appear In Margot Robbie’s Barbie Movie

What a cast!

We are beyond excited to see the iconic doll of our childhoods be brought to life on-screen for (surprisingly) the first time. We know Margot Robbie is taking on the iconic role and Ryan Gosling is rumoured to be playing Ken… but we’ve just found out who some of the other cast members might be and it’s even more exciting.

Saoirse Ronan and Dua Lipa are said to be cast for the upcoming film! We are thrilled that we’ll have some gorgeous Irish talent in the flick and we are so excited to see Dua’s acting skills!

The singer is set to star in her first film, Argylle later this year and then will be in the Barbie movie! She really is an all-rounder.

A source told The Sun, “[Dua Lipa] has joined the cast of Barbie alongside big names including Margot, Ryan Gosling, Will Ferrell and Saoirse Ronan.

“Although Argylle is a big film in its own right, Barbie will be a breakthrough part for Dua because there is so much hype around it.”

“Dua is quickly proving there is far more to her than just being a pop star. She has an exciting future ahead of her in films,” they added.

We are already picturing Saoirse and Dua as Barbie’s pals, although we don’t know what exactly their roles are going to be yet… Will Ferrell is said to be playing the CEO of Mattel the company that manufactures Barbie and other toys, so we don’t quite know who else is a doll and who is a human, but we can’t wait to find out.
