Selena Gomez Confirms Relationship With Benny Blanco

Selena Gomez has confirmed that she’s dating music producer Benny Blanco!

The pair have worked together on songs in the past, and now it appears they’ve had more than just a professional relationship for at least six months.

Selena shared a snap to her Instagram stories that showed her cosying up to Benny, surprising fans who thought she was single.

Some were shocked that Selena would date Benny, who has allegedly thrown shade her way in the past.

On a 2020 podcast episode with host Zach Sang, Benny was praising Selena’s ex Justin Bieber. He then appeared to get a dig in at Selena, saying that certain female artists are like “Like you know, they’re like, ‘this is my new single and here’s my makeup line'”.

Benny also has a close collaborative relationship with Justin, which has made fans even more surprised that Selena would date him.

Yesterday, the Who Says singer began engaging with commenters on an Instagram post by PopCrave that had shared the photo of her and Benny.

Selena appeared to be defensive about her relationship, snapping back at comments that criticised her.

“He is my absolute everything in my heart,” she wrote, to which a fan replied, “he cursed you, that’s not treating you well.”

Selena clapped back, “then why has he been the best thing that’s ever happened to me. The end”.

Another fan chimed in, “you’re just corny omg that man was shading you years ago,” with Selena replying, “lol yeah and he’s still better than anyone I’ve ever been with. Facts”.

To another comment Selena responded “I don’t understand. If you actually care about me. This is my happiest. If you don’t feel free to say whatever you want.

She continued, “But I will never allow your words to guide my life. Ever. I’m done. If you can’t accept me at my happiest then don’t be in [m]y life at all.”

Well then!

We hope Selena is happy with Benny – and that she doesn’t let the haters get to her.
