It’s almost like Selling Sunset came out of nowhere. Suddenly, everyone and their mother were tuning in on Netflix to see what all the fuss was about, and to figure out why everyone was talking about it. If you haven’t watched it yet, think The Hills meets House Hunters. It has that grip of reality tv, while giving us an insight into how the other half lives. Clients viewing million-dollar homes and giving out that the hob isn’t up to scratch. You know, relatable. There are two seasons available on Netflix, and it fills that reality tv gap that we all have right now.

One of our faves on the show, Chrishell has opened up about how difficult she found filming the second season, as she went through a divorce at the time. The series was filmed during her split from This Is Us actor Justin Hartley, and Chrishell says that viewers will see a lot more of her personal life.

Actually, she’s dreading watching the season back because of that very reason. Speaking to ET Canada, Chrishell said, “The first eight episodes I came across a little unscathed and then the second half of season 2 is a little trickier for me.”

She continued, “This is still new for me trying to adjust to such an uncomfortable thing but unfortunately yes, the cameras were there. I still had a month left of shooting when my personal life kind of exploded. It’s not a comfortable thing to live in front of everyone. If I’m being 100 per cent honest with you, it’s friggin’ awkward. They were there and some of it is going to be shown and I’m dreading that.”

“I feel like, with Season 2, people are going to see me a little more sure of myself, a little more confident and being able to stand my ground when I need to, which I don’t feel I was confident enough in Season 1 to do because everything was being thrown at me and I was a little surprised by the things that happened,” she shared.
