Sex Education’s Aimee Lou Wood Is Joining The White Lotus Cast
It just keeps getting better.

HBO has revealed the new cast members for season three of The White Lotus, with one very familiar face.
The newest additions to the cast include Walton Goggins, Sarah Catherine Hook, Sam Nivola, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and of course the lovely Aimee Lou Wood.
Aimee is best known for her role as the loveable Aimee Gibbs on Netflix’ Sex Education, for which she won a BAFTA for Best Female Comedy Performance.

The show ran for four seasons with the first season in 2019 and the final season in September 2023.
Since then, the English actress has been filming for the upcoming Seize Them! movie and we have missed seeing her on our screens.
Season three of The White Lotus is set to begin filming in Thailand this February. However, it most likely won’t hit our screens until 2025 due to the SAG-AFTRA strikes.
This dark comedy-drama follows guests and employees of the fictional White Lotus resort chain. During their stay at the resort, the characters are affected by their various dysfunctions.

The first season of the show was set in Hawaii and premiered in July 2021. It was a huge success and received 20 Emmy nominations, winning ten awards.
The second season was set in Italy and premiered in December 2022, receiving 23 Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series.
The new season will apparently focus on death in Eastern religion and spirituality.

Creator Mike White told Entertainment Weekly that viewers can expect season three to be even “crazier” than the previous seasons.
“It’s going to be longer, bigger, crazier. I don’t know what people will think, but I am super excited, so at least for my own barometer, that’s a good thing… I’m super excited about the content of the season.”
We can’t wait to see what’s in store for Aimee in The White Lotus resort!
