Shakira Just Stood Up To Wild Boars In Barcelona

Between selling millions of records and secretly taking Ancient Philosophy courses at the University of Pennsylvania, Shakira’s life is pretty hectic. And it just got even crazier after she was attacked by wild boars.

The singer revealed that two wild boars attacked, took her handbag, and destroyed it while she was walking in a Barcelona park with her 8-year-old son.

The pop star took to Instagram stories to share her experience.

In the video, she shows off the remnants of her wreaked bag, explaining:

“Look at how two wild boars which attacked me in the park have left my bag. They were taking my bag to the woods with my mobile phone in it. They’ve destroyed everything.”

Shakira then asked her son, Milan, who was with her at the time, to back up her story, saying:

“Milan tell the truth. Say how your mummy stood up to the wild boar,” but he was busy walking in the other direction.

Even if he didn’t confirm her story, we know she’s telling the truth, after all, those Hips Don’t Lie.

Both Shakira and her son appear to have not been injured during the ambush.

Her husband Gerard Piqué plays FC Barcelona, which is why the pair are located there. The city has been overrun with boars lately.

Wild boars can be very dangerous and have been causing damage throughout continental European cities such as Berlin and Rome recently.
