Now that the winter version of Love Island has come to a close, we’re waiting with bated breath to see which couples are going to go the whole hog. So much so we *almost* forgot about the couples of 2019. But just yesterday, Queen Maura announced that she and other half Curtis half split.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, Maura confirmed the news, “Curtis and I have made the decision to separate. We enjoyed a great experience from our time in the villa and want to thank everyone for supporting our relationship.”
“There is no easy way to get through a breakup and no bad feelings on either side. We tried to make it work but it wasn’t to be. I wish Curtis nothing but the best for the future.”
According to the MailOnline, Maura’s friends have said that “It’s going to be a tough time for Maura. She really tried to make things work with Curtis but unfortunately they’ve gone their separate ways.”
While we’re pretty sure Maura will be graaand, the only remaining couple from Love Island 2019 are Molly-Mae and Tommy, cuties.
