Simon Cowell Made A Dig At Fleur East On The X Factor Last Night & Fans Were NOT Pleased
Last night saw the battle of Saturday night telly come to a head once again, with night one of the X Factor final acting as the curtain raiser for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
The remaining X Factor contestants all battled it out for the public’s vote, as former contestant Fleur East was chosen to the next bush tucker trial for camp in the jungle.
We all remember Fleur for being one of our fave ever X Factor contestants – coming runner up to Ben Haenow (?) back in 2014, and we’ve been enjoying watching her adjust to jungle life every night for the past week and a half now.
But it seems as if the singer’s former mentor Simon Cowell isn’t enjoying her on the show as much as we are?
Last night, following Simon’s final remaining contestant Scarlett Lee’s performance, he made some comments that fans thought were a thinly veiled dig at Fleur’s new gig.
“I don’t want you in the jungle in two years time drinking worm juice, I want you on either Broadway or West End or selling records.” the 59-year-old said.
“This could change your life babe,”
Now it doesn’t take a genius to realise he was having a go at Fleur there, and eh… it was actually cockroach juice she was drinking?
Not watching #XFactor but apparently Simon Cowell made a thinly veiled dig at Fleur East being on I’m A Celeb.
Funny really, because a lot more people are watching her eat shit than him spouting it.

@SimonCowell nice indirect to one of your best contestants on the entire show there @FleurEast, it's your own fault she isn't BIG in music right now, just like @EllaHenderson, @leonalewis and @alexandramusic have all faded away with their TALENTS! Disgrace #XFactor #TheXFactor
