‘Smart, Funny And Inspiring’ Victoria Beckham Just Shared Her Love For Irish Writer Sinead Burke

It’s no secret that Sinead Burke has an army of fans, and many of the celeb variety too.

She’s pals with the likes of Will.I.Am, Saoirse Ronan and more than one Irish president and she’s gotten to know countless celebrities through her work as a writer and disability advocate. This includes Kim Kardasian, Ryan Murphy, Meghan Markle – I could keep going.

So while it wasn’t exactly a shock to see her in a pic with Victoria Beckham, we couldn’t help but feel proud when Posh Spice shared pics with the star and gushed about how fabulous she is.

“I have wanted to meet Sinead Burke for so long!” Victoria said.

“We talked for hours – she is incredibly smart and funny – and her advocacy work is inspiring. We all have a lot to learn and it was a privilege for me to have had time together with her yesterday.”

Sinead shared similar sentiments with some added nostalgia.

“The Spice Girls catalogue was the soundbed for my maturation. It was so powerful to be a young woman in an era where a phrase like “Girl Power” was not just heard in the playground of an all-girls school, but it was part of the cultural lexicon,” she explained.

She added: “As I’ve got older, I’ve continued to admire @victoriabeckham. (I even told @timblanks in @bof that she’s the reason I have a bob.) Victoria’s ambition and tenacity is contagious. Spending time with her recently talking about how we can each do more to amplify voices and use our influence to ensure that inclusion isn’t just a moment but a movement was a true privilege. Thank you, Victoria!”

Looks like Sinead can add another celeb to her list of best friends!
