So, Apparently Love Island’s Tasha Used To Date This Former Love Islander’s Ex

It really is a small world… Tasha Ghouri has been catching a lot of eyes in the Love Island villa since the show premiered on Monday night, we are already loving her personality on the show so their interest is no surprise.

Even though it’s early days, we already have a feeling that Tasha is going to be one of this season’s iconic contestants. And it turns out, she has something in common with another iconic Islander of the past… An ex!

Yep, according to MailOnline Tasha used to date Giovanni Pernice, who also used to date Maura Higgins!

MailOnline reported that they DM’d after Giovanni won Strictly Come Dancing with his partner Rose Ayling-Ellis, who was also part of the deaf community and someone Tasha admired.

A source close to Tasha told MailOnline, “Giovanni was persistent when it came to Tasha. They have a lot in common, both being dancers, and he had just learned a lot about the deaf community performing with Rose on Strictly, who Tasha really admires.

“Tasha was impressed by how gentlemanly he was, taking her out to top London restaurants and offering to send cars to collect her, but she’s independent and always made her own way to see him.”

What are the chances that two love Island gals will have fallen for the same Strictly star?!

Tasha is the first Love Island star to enter the villa and she’s also the first contestant to vow to donate half of her prize money with The National Deaf Children’s Society if she was to make it to the final.

Speaking to the MailOnline, Tasha said, “If I did win Love Island my plan is to give 50 per cent of it away to The National Deaf Children’s Society, I have raised money for charities before and it’s something I love to do and to give back.”

So sweet!
