Emma Roberts has revealed that she blocked her mam on Instagram, after she let wind that Emma was pregnant with her first child.

But, before you go assuming this is some huge Robert’s family drama, we must preface it by saying it was actually a fairly harmless block, and if you haven’t at least considered doing the same to your own mother when she’s been wrecking your head misusing social media, then you’d be lying.

Speaking on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Emma recounted the moment her mam confirmed the pregnancy news that wasn’t supposed to be confirmed on her social media account.

“I was keeping my pregnancy pretty low-key, but unfortunately my mother has Instagram, which mothers and Instagram is a bad combination,” Emma began.

Going on, Emma said that on Instagram her mother interacted with Emma’s fans, thanking them for their pregnancy wishes, which of course ‘spilled the beans’.

“It was a disaster. And I found it all out on a plane. So, I couldn’t get to her.”

When eventually Emma confronted her mam, telling her that she just revealed her pregnancy, Emma says her mother responded back with:

“Emma, you announced it, and I was like ‘no I didn’t, that was a tabloid’ and she was like ‘oh, that wasn’t clear.”

Emma also goes on to say that the two got into a tiff about her mother’s mess up, leading her to block her as her only form of retaliation.

“I blocked her at one point. It was my only weapon.”

“She texted me at 2:00 a.m., ‘Queen, did you block me? Sad face.’ I was like, ‘Yes, I did block you.’ Then I unblocked her. It’s been an Instagram war with my mother that I never saw coming. A good story to tell the baby.”

A good story indeed. We’re certainly glad to see that even A-listers have to put up pesky mothers and their social media antics!
