So *Here’s* Who Set Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Up On Their Blind Date!

They have a lot to thank her for

The wedding of the year is a mere four months away, and all we can think about is Megs stepping out of the Royal car in a gown of all our dreams.

But what if Harry and Meghan had never met? Doesn’t bear thinking about, right?

Well it seems we now know who we have to thank for our fave couple perhaps of all time!

It has been revealed that Violet von Westenholz is the name of the mutual friend who set the Prince up with his future wife.

Violet, 33, works in PR and is the daughter of Olympic skier Baron Piers von Westenholz, a friend of Prince Charles. Well duh, she was hardly going to be Joe soap was she?

It is thought that herself and Ms Markle worked together previously in fashion house, Ralph Lauren

‘When Harry told Violet he was having trouble finding someone, Violet said she might just have the perfect girl for him,’ a source told E! news.

At the time the engagement was announced, Harry revealed that a ‘secret friend’ had set them up, but gave no further deets.

‘It was definitely a set-up,’ Meghan added. ‘It was a blind date.

‘I didn’t know much about him and so the only thing I had asked her when she said she wanted to set us up was, I had one question, I said “Was he nice?”‘

So we can all say a collective WELL DONE to Violet von Westenholz!
