So, Paul Mescal Just Released A Song
The Dubliners are quaking
We all know about Paul Mescal’s acting talents, but now the Maynooth native has surprised fans by showing his talents elsewhere.
Paul has recorded and released his first song, ahead of his appearance on ‘Black Alley’, a new Irish crime podcast.
The podcast itself will a scripted series on fictional crime stories, and Paul will be voicing one of the characters.
As part of this, Paul recorded a track called ‘Black To The Bed’, which will feature on the episode ‘Thunder’.
‘Black to the Bed’, an original song from Black Alley, performed by Paul Mescal, is available to stream on Spotify from 1pm.

The synopsis for this episode, in particular, reads: “It’s a cold and stormy night. One by one, a gang of robbers arrive back at their den.
“When their chief arrives, he explains that he’s hidden the score. He’ll take them out individually to give them their cut. Which means most of them will have to wait.
“Stories are told, songs are sung. But this gang is more than a bit impatient. Because there’s more than one plan afoot. How do you avoid being bitten in a pit full of snakes?”
Thunder will premiere on Spotify on the 15th of June.
Many other famous faces will also be lending their voices to the new series, including Game of Thrones actor Frank Blake, Love/Hate stars Tom Vaughn-Lawlor and Peter Coonan, and Young Offenders stars Alex Murphy and Chris Walley.
Those who’ve been following Paul for a while may not be too shocked by his vocal talents as the star previously sang with Dermot Kennedy during a virtual show and has also done duets with his talented sister, Nell Mescal, over the years.
