Sophie Turner And Joe Jonas Are ‘Strict’ About Not Putting Their Daughter In The Spotlight

Sophie Turner is expecting baby number two with her husband Joe Jonas and has opened up about her pregnancy to Elle UK in a gorgeous cover interview.

After keeping her pregnancy a secret for a few months, Sophie is now sharing her excitement saying, “It’s the best blessing ever.”

The couple already have a daughter together named Willa Jonas who was born in 2020. They have been very private about their daughter ever since her arrival, not bringing her out in public to be photographed and keeping her face off social media.

Speaking about whether she would allow her children to follow in her footsteps, the 26-year-old Game Of Thrones star tells Elle UK, “I know what it can do to your mental health to be in this industry, and to be photographed every day and have the comments…It’s not something I want her to deal with unless she says, ‘This is what I want to do.’ “We’re quite strict about that.”

Sophie also explains that herself and Joe aren’t fans of the appearances themselves, “I’m very protective of the life we’ve built…Every time Joe and I do a red carpet together, we make sure it’s for the right reason and makes sense for our careers. You never want to market yourself as a celebrity couple. It’s not that cool.”

In the future the actress is hoping to relocate her family to the UK, where she grew up, although Joe may not be the biggest fan of this idea, “I’m slowly dragging my husband back, she said. “I really love living in America but, for my mental health, I have to be around my friends and my family. And also for my daughter. I would love her to get the education and school life that I was so lucky to have.

“England would ideally be the final destination.”
